Matt Campbell brings versatile, high-upside linebacker potential to UMass
Campbell is listed as a linebacker for Massachusetts, but the available roster and stat sources don’t show current production metrics, so his value is more about projection than proven box-score impact. His appeal is the classic LB profile: a player who can fit against the run, play with physicality, and develop into a dependable piece if the coaching staff likes his instincts and motor. He looks like a fit for a team that wants depth, special-teams toughness, and a player whose best football may still be ahead of him.
