Ryan Hussey brings a big righty frame and projectable upside to Xavier
Ryan Hussey is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound junior right-hander for Xavier in the 2026 season, and the selling point is the build: he looks like a pitcher made to handle a starter’s workload if the stuff keeps climbing[1][10]. In prep reports, he was described as having a strong lower half, repeatable mechanics, and a fastball that sat in the upper-80s and touched 90, with a curveball as a main secondary—classic “good frame, real projection” territory[4]. If you want a durable, strikes-first arm with room to add more juice, Hussey is a name worth caring about.
