seasoned Albany interior lineman with proven starting experience
Joe Hoback is a veteran center/lineman profile for Albany whose biggest selling point is reliability: he was a multi-year starter on the offensive line and helped power UAlbany’s 2012 offense, which finished among the league’s best in scoring at 34.1 points per game while allowing just 1.45 sacks per game. He isn’t a stats-hog kind of player—centers rarely are—but the appeal is the steady, physical, assignment-sound presence that keeps an offense on schedule. If you want toughness, experience, and trench credibility, Hoback fits the bill.
