Wolfpack’s rising righty with real late-inning bite
Anderson Nance has emerged as a high-leverage weapon for NC State, building on a 2025 freshman season where he went 8-2 with a 3.50 ERA, 53 strikeouts in 54.0 innings, and Freshman All-American honors. In 2026, he added even more value, finishing 4-3 with three saves, a 4.91 ERA, and 61 strikeouts in 53.2 innings while earning a USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp invite. His appeal goes beyond numbers: he has shown toughness in big spots, enough arm to start when needed, and the kind of competitive edge coaches love in a bullpen anchor.
