North Dakota DB Dominique Hawkins: Trusted Two-Way Playmaker with All-Conference Return Value
Dominique Hawkins stands out as a physical, high-IQ defensive back whose value goes beyond coverage: he was a preseason All-Great West honoree and a watch-list return specialist after leading the league with a 28.4 kick-return average in 2010, while also earning a reputation as a productive tackler and ball disruptor. His differentiators are versatility, field vision, and special-teams juice—traits that make him useful in multiple roles and a strong fit for a team that wants an instinctive, assignment-sound defender who can flip field position and create hidden-yardage impact.[1][14]
