Jayden John brings clutch leg and steady special-teams value to Alabama State
In the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Jayden John showed he can flip momentum with a long-range boot, including a 46-yard field goal in 2022 and a 49-yard career long that earned SWAC weekly honors, plus key makes in Alabama State wins over Jackson State and Bethune-Cookman[2][3][12]. He profiles as a reliable, game-ready kicker with confidence from distance, and that matters because close games in the SWAC often come down to field position and field goals[2][3][7].
