Zed Evans brings burst and versatility to North Texas' secondary
Zed Evans is a defensive back who stands out more for athleticism and playmaking upside than box-score volume, with a background that includes both secondary duty and ball skills from his earlier football career. At North Texas, the appeal is his burst, toughness, and ability to fit into multiple roles in coverage and support, which can matter as much as raw tackle totals in evaluating a DB. Because the available public data is limited and dated, he profiles as a useful depth-and-development fit rather than a proven headline defender.
