John Lumpkin brings developmental size and upside to Indiana’s defensive front
John Lumpkin is a long, physical defensive lineman in Indiana’s 2026 roster mix, and the big selling point is upside: he fits the classic mold of a disruptive front-line defender with room to add strength and become more impactful as he matures. Public roster data shows him listed on Indiana’s 2026 football roster as a DL, but there is not enough reliable, current public stat detail here to claim a breakout yet. For a team, the appeal is traits and projection — size, frame, and developmental runway — rather than proven production today.
