veteran Samford defensive lineman with proven SoCon pedigree
Roosevelt Donaldson is a 6-foot-2, 265-pound redshirt senior defensive lineman for Samford who transferred from Western Michigan and has long been viewed as an immediate impact front-seven piece. In his Samford bio, he’s listed at defensive line with veteran size and experience, and earlier team materials noted he was projected to start at stud defensive end after seeing action in all 11 games in 2014 and earning meaningful SoCon recognition by 2016. He profiles as a steady, physical, scheme-flexible lineman who brings maturity, toughness, and plug-and-play reliability more than flash.
