Joe Brum brings a versatile, high-effort defensive presence to Cal Poly
Brum stands out as a multi-dimensional, physical defender whose background suggests toughness, motor, and special-teams value rather than just raw box-score production. Cal Poly’s roster lists him as a defensive lineman, while his earlier college profile shows a player who also contributed on offense and piled up impact plays in high school, including tackles, sacks, blocked kicks, and interceptions—evidence of an aggressive, disruptive style. He’s the kind of fit coaches like when they want versatility, reliability, and edge in the trenches, especially if they value effort and matchup flexibility.
