Cal Poly DB Jaylen Morgan brings veteran size, versatility, and cornerback toughness
Jaylen Morgan is a redshirt senior defensive back for Cal Poly, listed at 6-foot-0 and 188 pounds, with experience across multiple programs and a history of playing corner, safety, receiver, and even returning kicks. Cal Poly’s roster note from 2020 said he was in the mix for a starting boundary-corner job, which fits a player valued for maturity, positional flexibility, and immediate competition-level readiness. His appeal is less about splashy box-score production and more about dependable, physical depth with a do-it-all background that can help stabilize a secondary.
