Gavin Olson is a young 6'2" guard with size, upside, and a clear role at St. John's (MN)
In the 2025-26 season, Gavin Olson is a sophomore guard for St. John’s (MN) listed at 6'2", 180 pounds, and his profile suggests a developing backcourt piece rather than a volume-stat star yet. He’s already cracked the rotation and offers legitimate guard size, local toughness, and program fit out of Waconia, which matters for teams valuing system guys who can grow into bigger minutes. The appeal is upside: if you want a physical, coachable guard who can keep improving without demanding the ball, Olson is the kind of under-the-radar prospect worth watching.
