Lafayette's Chris Royle: Patriot League Center Standout from Early 2000s
Chris Royle, Lafayette Leopards' starting center for 28 straight games by 2002, earned Preseason All-America honors as the third-best returning Division I center per The Sports Network and snagged Offensive Line MVP in 2001; a senior co-captain with four years of grit, he anchored the line for a 7-5 squad and dramatic Patriot League wins. His leadership and reliability make him a coach's dream—battle-tested, scholarly, and clutch in big games like the Lehigh rivalry.
