Nick Worthington’s arm is getting real reps for Rhode Island
In the 2026 season, Rhode Island right-hander Nick Worthington has worked 5.2 innings with a 7.94 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 4 strikeouts, and he made his first start of the season on April 14, allowing one run over two innings against Bryant[1][5]. The Rams list him as a 6-foot-4, 235-pound redshirt junior, a profile that usually hints at a durable, power-oriented frame, but the current stat line says he is still fighting for consistency and command[2][1]. If you need a project arm with starter size and upside, he’s intriguing; if you need immediate rotation reliability, this is more of a “watch the growth” than a plug-and-play answer[1][5].
