Michael Laurencelle brings size, leverage, and interior punch to Lehigh’s defensive front
Michael Laurencelle is a 6-foot-4, 270-pound junior DL for Lehigh who has already shown he can hold the middle and flash disruption, including a career-best 2019 game with 4 tackles and 3 tackles for loss. Lehigh coaches described him as a “big, strong, physical guy” who “really emerged as a force inside” in spring work, which is exactly the kind of nasty interior presence teams want when they need a stout, assignment-sound lineman with upside. His game fits best for a defense seeking toughness, length, and reliable trench juice.
