Nate Webb is becoming Belmont’s middle-order spark plug
In the 2026 season, Nate Webb has flashed real pop and timely hitting for Belmont, including a three-run homer against UAB and a .538 stretch that earned MVC Freshman of the Week honors.[2][5] The 6-foot-4 freshman infielder also showed he can handle pressure moments and keep the line moving, with multiple-hit games and strong plate discipline noted by the conference. He looks like a fit if you want a big-bodied, right-now producer with upside—less polish than a veteran, but plenty of thump and competitive at-bats.[4][5]
