Tevin Prescott brings old-school reliability and glue-guy toughness to Winthrop
A redshirt senior forward for Winthrop, Prescott is the kind of low-drama, high-value frontcourt piece coaches love: he has been noted for efficient finishing, rebounding, shot-blocking, and a team fit that showed up again when he returned to the lineup after sitting out a season. Winthrop’s roster notes say the Eagles were 17-3 when he scored in double figures, and earlier team coverage credited him with 70% shooting in one stretch and a reputation for loyalty and character—translation: tough, dependable, and not just box-score noise.
