Watson’s 2025-26 season at UT Permian Basin showed a low-usage guard who can stretch the floor and do the little things: he appeared in 27 games, shot 33.3% from three, and contributed 33 rebounds, 15 assists, and 4 steals while averaging 2.4 points per game.[2] He is best viewed as a rotation piece with size for the backcourt, a willingness to make winning plays, and enough shooting touch to fit alongside higher-usage scorers rather than demanding the ball himself.[2][4]
