South Carolina State’s legacy-grade RB with proven punch
Will Ford is the type of South Carolina State back who earns real attention, not just box-score applause: the program’s career-rushing legend has been tied to 4,688 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns in SCSU/MEAC history, and South Carolina State’s 2026 offense has still leaned on the run, with RB Tyler Smith leading the team’s rushing output at 512 yards on the season leaderboard. Ford’s calling card has always been durability, vision, and chain-moving toughness—he’s the kind of back who changes your third-down mood and your defense’s afternoon. If you want an every-down bully who can carry identity, he fits.
