Corey Howard brings high-upside size and pass-rush tools to Alabama
Howard is a long, developmental edge prospect who stands out for his length, hand usage, and ability to generate knockback, with coaches noting he is increasingly disruptive at the point of attack. In the 2025 high school season at Valdosta, he posted 36 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks, and recruiting outlets generally viewed him as a three-star defender with top-75 edge upside in some rankings. He looks like a fit for a team that values projection, effort, and pass-rush traits over immediate polish.
