Aric Berg is Fordham’s late-inning ice man
In the 2026 season, Berg has been Fordham’s closer, posting a 4.07 ERA with six saves, a 2-1 record, and 25 strikeouts in 24.1 innings, which shows legitimate bat-missing stuff and trust in high-leverage spots. He’s also shown he can protect slim leads under pressure, highlighted by a perfect ninth for his first save and a season where Fordham leaned on him repeatedly in the back end. If a team wants a composed, strike-throwing reliever with proven closing experience, Berg fits the bill.
