Stanford DE Eric Cotton: Solid Pass-Rusher with Pro Potential from 2017
Eric Cotton, a fifth-year senior Stanford Cardinal defensive end in 2017, delivered 30 tackles (9 solo), 4.0 TFLs, and 2.5 sacks over 12 games, showcasing his 6'5", 260-lb frame for point-of-attack blocking and mismatch disruption as a tight end convert (247Sports skills: Frame 9/10, Size 8/10). His athleticism (7/10) and hands (7/10) highlight edge-rushing upside, though limited sacks suggest room for refinement; NFL sites track him as a Titans prospect, making him a high-motor fit for teams needing developmental DE depth with Pac-12 pedigree.
