DeShawn Holmes brings veteran instincts and blue-collar linebacker grit to Richmond
DeShawn Holmes is a redshirt senior linebacker for Richmond, listed at 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds, and his value is less about flash than steady, do-your-job reliability in the middle of the defense[2][3]. His long run with the Spiders and Richmond roots give him real feel for the program, while his play history shows he has been trusted in key moments; he’s the type who fits if you want toughness, experience, and a compact, physical presence over pure size. If you need a linebacker who looks like he eats contact for breakfast, Holmes has that vibe.
