Tyrell Lyons brings size, versatility, and veteran grit to UNI’s secondary
Tyrell Lyons is a 6-foot-1, 213-pound defensive back who also logged time at linebacker, giving UNI a flexible, physical defender with real position versatility. His résumé shows special-teams value, veteran experience, and a nose for contact, plus he’s battled through injury setbacks before, which usually tells you something about toughness and persistence. The fit is simple: if you want a larger, downhill DB who can help in multiple roles and isn’t afraid to mix it up, Lyons is the kind of grinder coaches love to have around.
