veteran Blue Raiders guard with proven playmaking chops
Janay Brinkley brings a sturdy, veteran guard profile to Middle Tennessee, with past program notes showing she played in 106 games, totaled 56 assists and 29 steals, and was recognized for her leadership and academics during her Blue Raiders career[2][4]. Recruiting profiles also listed her as a solidly rated point guard prospect from Archbishop Spalding (Scout grade 84, PG No. 68), which supports the view that she was valued for control, decision-making, and guard instincts[8][14]. If a team wants a composed floor general who can organize an offense and compete with professionalism, Brinkley fits that mold.
