high-motor, tackle-heavy LB with NFL-ready instincts
Holcomb is a physical, downhill linebacker whose value comes from consistent tackling, pursuit speed, and a willingness to do the dirty work in the middle of a defense. After a serious injury setback in 2023, he returned to the Steelers and produced 24 solo tackles and 1 forced fumble in the 2025 regular season, showing he can still impact games through effort and awareness rather than splashy stats. He fits teams that want a dependable, tone-setting linebacker with proven pro experience and toughness.
