La'Ray Davis brings length and trench value to Texas Southern’s offensive line
La'Ray Davis is the type of OL prospect teams watch for traits more than box-score hype: if he’s handling the edge consistently, that signals real value in the run game and pass protection. For Texas Southern, an offensive lineman who can win with leverage, hand usage, and effort is a useful fit because it translates to dependable snap-to-snap stability. I couldn’t verify reliable, current public stat or scouting coverage for him in the available results, so the best read is that his appeal likely comes from fundamentals, consistency, and coachability rather than headline-grabbing production.
