a former Cal Poly line anchor whose grit still echoes around the program
Landon (Beau) Finato is best known as a Cal Poly offensive line veteran from the early 2000s, and the publicly available record shows him as a former starter on a 58-point Mustang offense in 2004 and part of a line that helped power a 2005 win over Sacramento State[3][4]. He doesn’t profile as a current 2026 roster player, but his value as a fit is clear: toughness, line-room experience, and a blue-collar profile that translates to physical, assignment-sound football. For a team seeking nastiness in the trenches, he’s the kind of name that still carries respect.
