Steady WKU DB with ball-hawking chops and veteran poise
Davion Williams was a reliable, experienced defender for Western Kentucky, appearing in 39 games over three seasons with the Hilltoppers and recording 71 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 12 pass breakups in his WKU career, including a 45-yard pick-six that helped clinch the 2021 Conference USA East Division title[1][8]. In the 2023 season, he played all 13 games with 9 starts and posted 28 tackles, showing the kind of week-to-week dependability coaches love[1][6]. He’s a fit for teams that value smart, sticky coverage, veteran savvy, and a defensive back who can make a timely play without needing the spotlight.
