Western Illinois TE with a clean slate and a big opportunity
Publicly available current football performance data for Tyler Slamans is limited, so the safest read is that he enters Western Illinois as a TE whose value will hinge on role, versatility, and coaching trust rather than headline stats. That usually means the real differentiators are blocking consistency, route detail, and willingness to do the dirty work—traits that coaches love when a tight end is climbing the depth chart. If your team wants a high-effort, glue-guy TE who can grow into a reliable system fit, he’s the kind worth tracking.
