Redshirt Freshman UTL with Elite Power Potential and Four-Time MVP Pedigree
Troy Osborne is a 6'4", 210-lb. redshirt freshman UTL for the Portland Pilots whose 2026 stats (AVG .043, 1 HR, 3 RBI) reflect early-season adjustment rather than true capability; his differentiators include a max bat speed of 71.3 mph, 25.3 mph hand speed, and a pedigree as a four-time team MVP and two-time league Player of the Year from Grants Pass HS. He runs exceptionally well for a catcher (6.99s in the 60-yard dash), displays red-hot intensity in summer West Coast League play, and brings a confident, competitive personality that elevates team morale. Despite a brief slump, his elite physical tools and proven leadership make him a high-upside fit for any team seeking power, versatility, and intensity.
