Washington’s JD Hill brings a high-motor, backfield-disrupting edge to the Huskies
JD Hill, a Washington-committed defensive lineman from Mission Viejo, is a physical 6-foot-2, 275-pound prospect whose calling card is production and disruption: in his 2025 high school season, reports credited him with 108 tackles and 13 sacks, including a 5.5-sack explosion against Folsom. He’s viewed as a quick, low-center-of-gravity defender with the versatility to play inside or on the edge, and his motor and block-shedding make him an appealing fit for a defense that wants chaos near the quarterback.
