Undersized Speedster WR Poised to Shine at EKU
Incoming freshman Braylon Newcomb, a 5'9", 163-lb speed demon from Ohio's Bellefontaine HS (Class of 2025), shattered school records with 235 receiving yards on 13 catches in a game, showcasing elite explosiveness via 9' broad jump, 4.53 short shuttle, and 31.5" vertical[1][7]. His Hudl highlights reveal a gritty, high-motor playmaker who wins with quickness and toughness despite size—perfect slot fit for teams needing dynamic YAC threats without injury red flags. Care because he's a record-breaking differentiator ready to contribute Day 1 at Eastern Kentucky[7][8].
