Jomyra Mathis brings veteran backcourt grit and proven two-way impact
Jomyra Mathis stands out as a seasoned New Orleans guard with a track record of disruptive defense and steady secondary playmaking. In her standout 2021-22 season at New Orleans, she averaged 12.7 points, 3.5 assists and 2.3 steals per game, earning All-Southland and All-Louisiana recognition; that steal rate is the kind of pesky, high-motor edge coaches love. Her profile reads like a tough, experienced guard who can pressure the ball, create offense, and give a team reliability beyond the box score.
