Gregg Kobelski brings gritty depth and academic polish to Villanova’s linebacker room
Gregg Kobelski is best viewed as a steady, high-motor linebacker who the program has described as a hard worker and depth piece for Villanova’s defense[2]. In the 2016 season, Villanova’s roster notes indicate he saw limited playing time and was named to the CAA Football All-Academic Team[2]. He stands out more for reliability, effort, and team-first value than splashy stat lines, which makes him a fit for a staff that wants smart, dependable defenders who embrace their role[1][2].
