Tagertt Dillard brings left-handed depth and late-inning bite for Oakland
In the 2026 season, freshman LHP Tagertt Dillard has given Oakland a compact, lefty look with real strikeout potential, including a scoreless inning with a strikeout at Central Michigan and multiple relief outings against high-level competition. The 5'8" southpaw was recruited as one of Texas’ top high school pitchers and entered college with a reputation for competitiveness and win-producing stuff, which fits a gritty bullpen role. He’s not a power-measurement monster, but he does bring deception, toughness, and a “ballplayer” edge that teams love in a matchup arm.
