Intense LB with 2 INTs & 3 FFs for Grambling State
Arkez Cooper, the 6'3", 225-lb linebacker from Mansfield, LA, stands out for his relentless intensity and football IQ rather than just raw stats. In the 2024 season, he recorded 6 solo tackles, 0.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles, showcasing a rare ability to disrupt passing games and create chaos at the line. His differentiator is his personality: a high-energy, battle-ready player who never takes a off-rhythm, making him a perfect fit for teams needing a defensive spark. While he has no major injury history, his intensity level is elite, often leading to extra reps in practice. Cooper is a good fit for any team seeking a versatile, aggressive LB who can cover, tackle, and force turnovers. He’s not just a stat leader; he’s a culture setter on the field.
