Kansas State’s ball-hawking DB who changed games
In the 2012 season, Allen Chapman stood out as a high-impact Kansas State defensive back, starting every game at cornerback and tying for fifth in the Big 12 with four interceptions, including a three-pick, pick-six explosion against Oklahoma State. He was a disruptive, instinctive defender with real playmaking juice — the kind of DB who can flip field position and momentum in one snap. His calling card was anticipation and toughness, which made him more than a stat sheet guy: he was a tone-setter with big-game flair.
