Reliable Rebounding Forward from YSU's Horizon League Days
Rachael Manuel, a gritty center/forward for Youngstown State Penguins around 2008-10, averaged 2.2 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in Horizon League play as a junior, starting seven contests while shooting efficiently with 71 field goals and 56 free throws; her high school dominance (12 PPG, 7 RPG leading her team to a title) and AAU pedigree with Illinois Pacesetters highlight her post presence, shot-blocking tenacity, and floor-running ability—ideal for teams needing tough, undersized bigs with proven rebounding intensity and no notable injury flags.
