experienced JMU corner with special-teams value and proven ball skills
Jack Sroba is a veteran James Madison CB whose value comes from reliability, versatility, and sneaky special-teams juice rather than headline-grabbing box-score chaos. JMU’s roster and media guide show him as a redshirt senior/defensive back with prior production on defense and in the return game, including an interception, a pass breakup, and punt-return work in earlier seasons; ESPN lists him as a Dukes cornerback. For a team, he looks like the kind of no-drama, assignment-sound defender who can stabilize depth, help on teams, and bring older-player composure — the classic “coach’s favorite” profile with enough competitive edge to matter.
