Nelson Nweke brought veteran size and paint presence to NC A&T
Nelson Nweke was a 6-foot-9, 235-pound center for North Carolina A&T in the 2018-19 season, bringing experienced interior size after prior stops at Arkansas State and Seminole State. His best calling cards were rebounding and finishing efficiency: at Seminole State, he averaged 15.0 points and 10.0 rebounds while shooting 69.8% from the floor and led NJCAA Division I Region II in field-goal percentage and rebounding. He looks like a fit for teams needing a tough, physical big who can clean the glass, score efficiently inside, and give reliable veteran minutes in the middle.
