Luis Rivas gives Western Illinois a sturdy, efficient frontcourt presence
In the 2026-27 season, Western Illinois forward Luis Rivas is producing 11.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game while shooting 54.7% from the field, a clean indicator of an efficient, low-drama offensive piece. At 6-7, 240, he brings college-ready size and a physical interior game that can help a team win the possession battle. For a roster looking for toughness, reliable scoring, and a forward who can do the dirty work without needing touches to be effective, he’s the kind of fit coaches like to keep around.
