a former Holy Cross QB now shaping offenses from the sideline
Degenhardt is no longer a current Holy Cross player—he’s a former quarterback who moved into coaching, and that matters because his value now shows up in quarterback development rather than box-score production. During his playing career, he was known as a productive, efficient passer who earned New Haven’s Miles McPherson Football MVP recognition for the 2021-22 academic year, and later took over as quarterbacks coach at his alma mater in 2024. If you care about a QB who understands timing, preparation, and how to lead an offense, his profile reads as a fit for teams that value football IQ and coaching acumen.[1][4]
