veteran guard with a coaching brain and a scorer’s résumé
Janay Morton’s best case is simple: experienced, skilled, and steady under pressure. Nebraska’s Janay Morton is listed as a guard and brings a long résumé that includes 1,486 career points, 400 rebounds, 255 assists, 243 steals, and 234 made threes from her earlier college career, which signals legit two-way value and range.[5][9] The big differentiator is feel—she’s the kind of guard whose value goes beyond box scores, with playmaking, defensive activity, and veteran instincts that can stabilize a rotation and fit a team that wants toughness, spacing, and leadership.[5][9]
