VMI’s veteran center Craig Howard brings size, strength, and line-flex versatility
Craig Howard profiles as a sturdy, experienced interior lineman for VMI: in the 2003 VMI football guide he was listed at 6-4, 315 pounds and described as one of the strongest Keydets, with a 615-pound squat, national strength All-American honors, and the ability to play any spot on the offensive line. That kind of power-and-position flexibility is exactly what staffs love in a center or swing lineman, especially from a player praised for bringing needed experience and conference-caliber upside when eligible and available.
