veteran UIC forward with size, finishing touch, and rim protection
Diggins was a reliable, physical frontcourt piece for UIC, finishing his five-year Flames career with 1,057 points, 633 rebounds, and 111 blocks in 152 games; in his 2021-22 season, he averaged 6.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in 21.9 minutes off the bench, showing he could impact games without needing the ball. His value is in his toughness, interior efficiency, and ability to protect the rim, making him the kind of steady, low-drama forward coaches trust to raise a team's floor.
