Richmond’s Xander Maddox brings veteran DB depth and academic polish
Xander Maddox is a long-tenured Richmond defensive back whose value is more about steadiness than splash plays: in the 2014 season, he appeared in six games and recorded two tackles, while Richmond also listed him as a CAA All-Academic Team honoree. He projects as a reliable, coachable depth piece with experience and consistency, plus the kind of work ethic that shows up in the classroom and locker room. If a team wants a smart, low-drama defender who knows the system and won’t blink under pressure, Maddox fits the mold.
