Devin Wolff brought a legit starter look in a short Fairfield debut
In the 2026 season, Fairfield right-hander Devin Wolff made 6 appearances and 1 start, logging 9.1 innings with a 9.64 ERA and 7 strikeouts, but his first impression was eye-catching: he threw 4 scoreless innings against Coastal Carolina in his Fairfield debut and later worked another scoreless inning versus Rider. The 6-5 junior transfer from UConn gives the Stags size, downhill leverage, and a strike-throwing baseline; if he sharpens command, he profiles as a useful rotation/depth piece with real bounce-back upside.
