Nebraska's Deep-Bench Walk-On Who Faded into Obscurity
Jason Shultis, a 6-1 guard from Dannebrog, Neb., appeared in just a handful of games for the Nebraska Cornhuskers during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, logging minimal minutes with stats like 0.0 ppg and 1.5 rpg across two games as a sophomore—think end-of-bench energy in a win over Penn State. A local walk-on with heart but no standout athleticism or scoring punch, he went undrafted in 2019 and has zero college hoops presence since. Fun underdog story, but unless your team needs pure hustle in garbage time, he's not your guy.
