Curtis Williams brings small-frame, big-grit energy to Northwestern State’s backfield
Curtis Williams is a compact, change-of-pace runner for Northwestern State whose appeal is more about toughness and persistence than raw volume. In the 2021 season, he logged career highs of 8 carries and 39 rushing yards in a game, and the program described him as a back who “waited his turn” and “always shows up” when opportunities arrive. He’s the kind of player who can fit a team that values effort, reliability, and hidden-yard toughness — not a headline grabber, but a grinder who can make coaches smile.
